YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE. (if you want to intern at a venue/art gallery and do other things of that nature, read this)
SO HERES THE DEAL- April was slow. We only had like 6 shows (with a combined total of about 6,000 bands). You’ll see a lot more going on in May/June, we just needed a breather. THAT BEING SAID, we really want to start shifting focus over the summer towards putting out a few releases and getting our line of clothing started. What does that mean for you? It means we’ll PROBABLY put our focus into doing our annual summer fest (wherever/whatever it may be this year) and about 3-4 bigger shows per month. We still want your band to hit us about playing at our house and we’re still going to be jumping around booking at a million different places, but we REALLY want to expand on some other areas that due to time/finances/adult life etc we haven’t been able to do as much in yet. IT ALSO MEANS WE NEED HELP.Llots and lots and lots of help. So, hit us up. We need you. We crave you. From someone to lead a street team to someone to do mailorder (which is a task we’ve failed at with alarming consistency) to someone to help us out with our blog, website etc, YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE. We are also looking for interns and volunteers to help us staff GALLERY U in Bethlehem, PA. That opportunity will be standing for as long as we are involved in the administrative end of what goes on there, and its a chance to mix fine arts, neuropsychology (we’ll explain) and PUNK RAWK in a rather unique way.
